While at UCSF, Debbie received numerous awards including the Dean’s Special Citation Award, the Clinical Excellence Award, and the Student American Dental Hygienists’ Association (SADHA) Award. She is currently a member of the American, California, and San Francisco Dental Hygienists’ Associations. Most notably, Debbie is one of only twenty-three dental hygienists in the state of California appointed by the Governor to work closely with the Dental Hygiene Committee of California. Debbie utilizes digital x-rays for diagnosis, which significantly reduces radiation exposure to her patients.
